DIEGO TACO GARCÍA

Diego “Taco” Garcia was born in 1984 in the Turrialba valley, Costa Rica and has been tattooing since 1999. At this time tattooing was brand new in Costa Rica and the lack of materials and tattoo culture meant that taco had to learn the fundamentals of old school tattooing like making needles, pigments and finding his references in the natural world around him, making him one of the most well rounded tattoo artists in the country.
A lover of cooking and music, you can find him passing time with his family, friends, and dogs. “Dedicating time to the eternal apprenticeship of tattooing is what I’m passionate about! Traveling the world meeting new people every day and trying new flavors and smells.”
